Integration Plan
SaaS Support Platform uses Next.js full-stack app to move hosted audio url through Pre-recorded Speech-to-Text, then delivers the result to crm ticket.
Recommended placement
- Hosted audio URL enters through the Next.js full-stack app boundary.
- Keep provider credentials behind an application-owned server boundary.
- Validate requests, attach server credentials, and sanitize provider responses.
- Deliver a finalized transcript into the system where an operator works.
- Make request flow diagnosable without exposing credentials or raw audio bytes.
- Final output is delivered to crm ticket.
Required files
- .env.local
- src/app/page.tsx
- src/app/api/deepgram/transcribe-url/route.ts
- src/app/api/deepgram/token/route.ts
- src/components/TranscriptViewer.tsx
- src/lib/deepgram.ts
- src/components/DeepgramAction.tsx
- src/app/api/deepgram/route.ts
- src/app/api/crm/tickets/route.ts
- src/lib/payload-inspector.ts
API routes
- src/app/api/deepgram/transcribe-url/route.ts
- src/app/api/deepgram/token/route.ts
- src/app/api/deepgram/route.ts
Snippet references
- Client fetch to a local /api/deepgram route
- Server-side fetch to Deepgram /v1/listen
- Idempotent server-side CRM ticket request
- Redacted request, response, and timeline envelope
Payload paths to inspect
- results.channels[0].alternatives[0].transcript
- results.channels[0].alternatives[0].words
- metadata.request_id
Security notes
- Read DEEPGRAM_API_KEY only in a trusted server or local CLI runtime.
- Do not place permanent provider credentials in browser bundles, URLs, localStorage, or console output.
- Redact Authorization headers, temporary tokens, and raw audio from inspection logs.
Flow diagram
Blocks update from the selected architecture, audio source, product, and destination.
Browser UI
Provide hosted audio url.
Next.js API Route
Validate input and attach credentials.
Deepgram /v1/listen
Run pre-recorded speech recognition.
Transcript JSON
Extract transcript, words, and request metadata.
CRM ticket
Consume finalized, sanitized output.
Insertion Patterns
Enable implementation patterns that should appear in the generated plan and file tree.
Purpose: Keep provider credentials behind an application-owned server boundary.
Files: browser component, local API client
Risks: Unvalidated input, Accidentally calling Deepgram with a permanent key from browser code
Snippet: Client fetch to a local /api/deepgram route
Purpose: Validate requests, attach server credentials, and sanitize provider responses.
Files: server route, Deepgram client
Risks: Missing authentication, Missing timeout or body-size limits, Leaking provider errors
Snippet: Server-side fetch to Deepgram /v1/listen
Purpose: Authorize a short-lived browser WebSocket without exposing the main API key.
Files: browser mic component, temporary token route
Risks: Caching temporary tokens, Granting tokens without app-level authorization, Token expiry
Snippet: Auth grant route plus browser WebSocket subprotocol
Purpose: Move recorded or uploaded audio through a controlled multipart endpoint.
Files: upload form, multipart API route
Risks: Oversized uploads, Unsupported content types, Persisting sensitive recordings
Snippet: FormData upload to /api/deepgram/transcribe-file
Purpose: Persist finalized transcript data for an application workflow.
Files: transcript repository, database schema
Risks: Storing interim duplicates, Unbounded retention, Missing tenant isolation
Snippet: Save final transcript with request and tenant identifiers
Purpose: Deliver a finalized transcript into the system where an operator works.
Files: CRM adapter, delivery route
Risks: Duplicate tickets, Sensitive text in third-party logs, Unverified webhook destinations
Snippet: Idempotent server-side CRM ticket request
Purpose: Generate speech on the server and return audio bytes to a controlled player.
Files: message form, TTS API route, audio player
Risks: Unsupported voices, Unbounded text input, Leaking object URLs
Snippet: Server-side /v1/speak request and browser Blob playback
Purpose: Provide a small local debugging and repeatable batch workflow.
Files: CLI script, local environment
Risks: Shell history leaks, Unbounded retries, Overwriting output files
Snippet: Environment-backed curl or SDK batch script
Purpose: Move long-running or high-volume recordings out of request/response latency.
Files: recording worker, job payload
Risks: Duplicate jobs, Missing retry limits, Orphaned source recordings
Snippet: Idempotent recording job with bounded retries
Purpose: Make request flow diagnosable without exposing credentials or raw audio bytes.
Files: inspection helper, result panel
Risks: Logging authorization headers, Logging temporary tokens, Retaining sensitive transcripts
Snippet: Redacted request, response, and timeline envelope
